Mirramu Dance Company is delighted to welcome Dancecology and Ku & Dancers for a two-week professional dance in nature residency from 14 to 26 March 2023.

During their visit Ausdance ACT is excited to partner with Mirramu Dance Company to provide a rare opportunity for local dancers to learn from these leading international dance artists from Taiwan.

Workshops

Friday 17 March 10am – 6pm Gorman Arts Centre

Workshop for community dancers – includes a short free performance by Dancecology and the opportunity to meet the artists. As well as a presentation of Elizabeth Cameron Dalman’s upcoming book ‘Nature Moves’.

Sunday 19 March 10am – 4pm Gorman Arts Centre

Workshop for professional dancers – includes a short free performance by Ku & Dancers and meet the artists.

Both workshops will include a Dance in Nature/Dance Ecology session led by Grace Peng & Elizabeth Cameron Dalman and a Contact Improvisation session led by Ming-shen Ku.

Ausdance ACT’s 2023 Workshop Series is presented in partnership with Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres.
