Ausdance ACT is delighted to present a Masterclass with Bangarra Dance Theatre.
While in Canberra, Bangarra is committed to engaging with the community beyond the performance by holding a beautiful contemporary dance masterclass inspired by the company’s newest work ‘Horizon’, on at the Canberra Theatre from 18-20 July.
This session focuses on exploring cultural elements of dance in a contemporary setting. The workshop is open to pre-professionals 14 years plus, independent dance artists, dance teachers and adult dancers with an intermediate to advanced level in contemporary dance.
The workshop is facilitated by four of the company members, who share the rich culture and history that is sewn through their storytelling. Join Bradley Smith, Kiarn Doyle, Emily Flannery and Lucy May to experience the magic!
