Eve Hunter

Hailing from the South London Music scene XAPHANIA works between sonic productions, abstract audio-visual pieces and fluid DJ mixes.

Their explorative sound collages are bound together with field recordings, spoken word and haunting vocalisation. XAPHANIA’s sonic works interlace folk foundations with glitches and mechanical disruption to forge rich, atmospheric soundscapes of allusive contemplation. To dissipate the tension of these reflective works, XAPHANIA also creates DJ mixes of straight grooves to encourage the expression of movement with their audience – with hops, skips and jumps across genres to ensure everyone desires a dance.

Eve is part of the Emerging Artist Studio Program at Gorman Arts Centre.
