Live Art Lab Program Artist 2020 – 2021

Hanna Cormick is a graduate of Ecole Internationale de Théatre Jacques Lecoq, and Charles Sturt University.

Living with an acquired disability, her practice is ‘a reclamation of body through radical visibility’. Hanna is currently co-curator, with Daniel Savage, for PLATFORM, Eastern Riverina Arts’ initiative to increase the participation of people and artists with disabilities. Her work has been supported by the Australia Council, Arts Council England, and PACT Centre for Emerging Artists.

Recent works include The Mermaid (Sydney Festival 2020; Ainslie & Gorman 2018; Art, Not Apart 2018), Canary (Climate Change Theatre Action 2019). Hanna was a finalist for the 2018 National Award for Disability Leadership (Arts).

Hanna is part of Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres’ Live Art Lab Development Program.
