Live Art Lab Program Artists 2020

Sophia is a sculptor, performance artist and art writer with a Masters in Fine Art from Monash University, whose work has been shown in Brazil, USA, Canada, Scotland, Switzerland, Romania and Australia.

Her work is concerned with the intersection of art and activism. She recently returned from Montreal where she was working for SenseLab: an international network of artists and academics, writers and makers, from diverse fields, working together at the crossroads of philosophy, art, and activism.

Mils is a painter, poet, environmental activist, and mental health and homelessness peer worker. They have a background in climate activism and extensive lived experience of grassroots activist campaigns.

Sophia and Mils are part of Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres’ Live Art Lab Development Program.
