Ainslie+Gorman now offers central, budget-friendly and secure dedicated monthly parking off Elder Street behind Ainslie Arts Centre (Elder Street Car Park). Eligible patrons include guests, residents and venue hirers of Ainslie Arts Centre and Gorman Arts Centre. Guardians of students as well as the staff of Ainslie Primary School are also eligible.

At only a 5 minute walk to Gorman Arts Centre or a 6 minute walk to Lonsdale Street, our long-stay exclusive secure parking in the Elder Street Car Park is available at $110.00/month (incl. GST) with 60 dedicated car parks available for ongoing long-term rent. The car park is secured by a boom gate from 7am to 5pm on business days (Monday to Friday) and can be accessed exclusively during these hours.
At roughly $5/day for secure all-day parking, we offer the lowest daily car parking rates in the city and surrounding areas, so if you are eligible (check your eligibility below), secure your spot today!
Where is Elder Street Carpark?
Our long-stay carpark is located off Elder Street in Braddon, directly behind Ainslie Arts Centre here and designated parking spots are allocated to users upon sign up.
- Gorman Arts Centre is a 5 min walk.
- Lonsdale Street is a 6 min walk.
- Canberra Centre is a 15 min walk.
Who can apply for long-term parking?
Users of the Ainslie Arts Centre and Gorman Arts Centre (including guests, residents and venue hirers) are eligible to apply for long-term monthly parking. Guardians of students, as well as staff of Ainslie Primary School, are also eligible to apply.
The fees from the car park directly contribute to the maintenance of the car park and the operations of Ainslie+Gorman.
