In House (Cultural Access Program)
We warmly invite you into our home!
Inclusion and cultural diversity are critical to a thriving creative community. In House provides short term access to artist studios, workshop spaces, and rehearsal spaces at Ainslie+Gorman to artists, arts workers, and community groups who are culturally and linguistically diverse or are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.
There are a range of venues and spaces across Ainslie+Gorman that are available to use for any art form, including independent artist studios, studio spaces, workshop and rehearsal spaces, classrooms, sound pods, co-working desks, and outdoor spaces.
Applications are open year-round, and begin with a face-to-face meeting with our Creative producing team to discuss your project and practice needs. This meeting can take place in person or online.
While no space will be provided for free, discounted hire rates will be available for each artist, art-worker, or community group. We will work with you to provide a personalised supported hire rate based on your requirements.
Please note: Artist Studios or Venues will be provided only where available and at the discretion of A+G.
Successful applicants may be able to access support from our producers and marketing teams after the face-to-face meeting. This meeting helps determine what support is available during your time at A+G.
You are welcome to bring a support person, translator, or advocate to the meeting, and you are encouraged to communicate any cultural safety needs you might have to engage positively in this process.
Please contact enquiries@ainslieandgorman.com.au or call 02 6102 0000 to arrange a meeting.
