In this new workshop, you can choose from making a lampshade with either a regular white lining OR a lined shade with fabric on the interior as well as exterior. Both shade types are made from scratch, using trade-quality materials and using modern lampshade-making techniques. And taught to you by expert upholsterer and queen of all things shade-y, Kate Malfroy.
By using your own fabric, the result is not only unique but perfectly suited to your personal decor style – students are unfailingly thrilled with their results!
We ask that you please arrive at least ten minutes before our 9 am start as we hit the ground running and want to make sure you aren’t left behind. Please be sure to bring your ironed fabric, details of how to prepare it will be available when you purchase your ticket.
