This retrospective is a two-day celebration of local Canberra artist Evelyn Sarvaas Ortiz. The exhibition showcases her early woodcarvings through to her painted ceramics and porcelain. See works inspired by her love of music, art history, travel, family and sense of curiosity and joy.
Evelyn’s unique depictions of Christ, angels, saints, crosses and biblical scenes were generously gifted to people and organisations locally and globally over her life, and this exhibition brings them all together for the first time.
A complimentary afternoon tea will be served on Saturday afternoon, from 3 PM – 4 PM. This will include cakes and slices, fruit, and tea and coffee (with non-dairy milks and vegan and gluten free options available).
