Are you a wind, brass or percussion player in Years 6 to 12?
Come and take part in a real rehearsal with the Canberra Youth Concert Band. This open session gives you the chance to sit in with the ensemble, play exciting music, and work with conductor Wyana O’Keeffe and Artistic Director Michael Favreau. You’ll explore some of the band’s current repertoire and experience what it’s like to rehearse in a full ensemble. There’s also a relaxed Q&A session for students, parents and instrumental teachers to ask questions and find out more. Whether you’re thinking about joining or just want to try something new, this is a great way to meet like-minded young musicians and see if this ensemble is a good fit for you.
