Vaidehi Subramanyan

Textured divide

Vaidehi is a bharatanatyam dancer. Her art is traditional, focusing on the movements, lines and grace of the Kalakshetra style of bharatanatyam, while exploring the universality and humanity of the stories told through Indian classical art.

Vaidehi uses the main hall and theatres at Gorman Arts Centre to further her practice through individual rehearsals, teaching beginners and sharing her art through performances.

You can find her on instagram @vaidehisubramanyan, or contact her on 0418356593.

Vaidehi is part of A+G’s In-House Program – a Cultural Access Program to lower the barriers for access to Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centre facilities for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse artists and makers.
