Kindling focuses on the human experiences of loneliness and human connection through the medium of contemporary dance. It features three distinct, but interconnected works; My Battery is Low, Joy Box, and Sloprot 2.0.

Choreographed by Mara Glass and performed by Glasshouse Dance Collective, this show invites you to lean in. It encourages you to examine your relationships; with yourself, with others, with inanimate objects, and with generative AI.

With moments of laughter juxtaposed with moments meant to shock, Kindling is everything you want a contemporary dance show to be. Designed to be approachable for audiences with minimal contemporary dance-watching experience, it utilises physical theatre techniques, such as voice over and spoken word to make intentions clear to the uninitiated.

Kindling is a show full of heart and determination. In Canberra for one night only!
