Suono Italiano concert series returns to Ainslie Arts Centre.
The Italian Cultural Institute, in collaboration with the Italian National Music Committee of Rome (CIDIM) and Arts Capital in Canberra is pleased to present a concert by the Italian cellist Emanuela Mosa and the Japanese pianist Mayaka Nakagawa, who will perform music by Dmítrij Šostakóvič, Francesco Cilea and Gian Francesco Malipiero
The programming of the Suono Italiano concert series resumes with its usual format — emerging artists, but with already a solid international experience, who perform for the first time in Australia.
At only 25 years of age, Italian cellist Emanuela Mosa has worked with world renowned musicians and received scholarships to various musical academies throughout Italy.
From the very beginnings of her musical career Japanese pianist Mayaka Nakagawa’s brilliance has been the recognised with national and international awards. Playing across Japan and Europe, Mayaka is no stranger to performing and looks forward to performing in Australia for the first time.
This performance is presented by the Italian Cultural Institute at Ainslie Arts Centre with the support of Arts Capital and Italian National Music Committee of Rome.
