Singers aged 8 – 11 are invited to join Luminescence Children’s Choir for a special one-term project in Term 4, 2026. Led by acclaimed composer and pianist Sally Whitwell, choristers will learn music theory and singing skills, and some of our favourite carols. Weekly sessions will be held on 4.30 – 5.30pm Thursdays at Ainslie Arts Centre, commencing 15 October.
Choristers will perform in Luminescence’s 2026 Christmas Classics performances, alongside Luminescence Chamber Singers and Luminescence Children’s Choir.
Enrolments are also open for singers aged 10 – 16 for Luminescence Children’s Choir in 2027, or for a September start for the choir’s 2026 Christmas season. Perform Benjamin Britten’s iconic Ceremony of Carols, conducted by AJ America and accompanied by Australia’s most acclaimed harpist Alice Giles. Singers will also perform in Luminescence’s annual Christmas Classics concerts.
Singers should be available for rehearsals and performances on 17, 18, and 20 December 2026.
