Ruhi Lee – 2019

Textured divide

Visiting Writer for the 2019 HARDCOPY program, run by the ACT Writers Centre.

Melbourne-based writer Ruhi Lee joined Ainslie Gorman family as part of the 2019 HARDCOPY program, generously run by the ACT Writers Centre. During her stay she worked on her memoirs, gathering together the defining moments of her story – one that reads like “a screenplay of a Bollywood epic”.

For more artist info take a look at her instagram.

Established in 2014, HARDCOPY is a national professional development program that helps build the capacities, aptitudes and resources emerging Australian writers need to reach their potential. Ainslie and Gorman Art Centres provide accommodation for the HARDCOPY recipients in ‘The Loft’, our dedicated space for visiting artists.

HARDCOPY is also generously supported by The Australian Council for the Arts, The Australian Government, The ACT Government, FNAWN, and The National Library of Australia.
