The Ainslie Main Hall, our largest performance venue, is ideal for family-friendly events and community gatherings. The space accommodates 140 guests and features a green room and a dressing area. The hall caters to music performances, conferences, large events, lectures, weddings and meetings.

- Dimensions: 10.7m x 22.5m
- Capacity: 140 seated lecture style
- Standard Inclusions: 4m x 7m stage, 60 padded chairs, 2 flip top tables
- Features: modular stage, artist green room and dressing room
- Floor: restored and polished original timber floorboards
- Sound: The hall has excellent acoustics for live performance. Sound equipment includes 16-channel sound system, 2 powered speakers (flown), 2 subwoofers, 4 fold-back speakers and a range of microphones. Please discuss extra requirements with Arts Capital staff.
- Lighting: ETC Smartfade ML lighting desk with a range of incandescent and LED fixtures. Specific technical information available on request.
- Heating / Cooling: Ceiling fans and wall radiators – please note that there is no air conditioning.
- Access: loading doors and driveway access at the rear of the space
- Other: The Ainslie Main Hall is available for hire in conjunction with other spaces at Ainslie Arts Centre (i.e. Ainslie Function Room).
